There are many folks dedicated to the children's program here at Franklinton Baptist Church. They volunteer their time and energy to cover four major programs, the nursery, Sunday School, Children's Church, and Wednesday evenings. This includes special activities through the year, including summer camp and Vacation Bible School. And at Christmas they come together annually for a special Children's Christmas program.

They start with parents in the Sanctuary 11:00 AM.
They will dismiss to go back to class after the Children's Message. Parents pick up their children after the service.

Children’s Church

   Each Sunday morning during our worship hour, we have a children’s sermon. Normally this is led by the pastor. Following this brief (5-minute) story time, our children leave the sanctuary with volunteer teachers to go to children’s church. In children’s church they have a Bible lesson and/or a craft. Parents come by the classroom to pick up their children following the worship hour.

Annual Christmas Program

Children's Christmas Program

   Each Christmas, our children present a Christmas play during our morning worship hour. This is usually presented on the first or second Sunday in December. Ages of participants in the play are pre-school to 12 years. And there’s a role for everyone! Our children’s Christmas play presents the story of the real meaning of Christmas in a different way each year. In 2024, the Christmas presentation is “Starry Night, Noisy Night.” And in 2024, our Christmas play leaders are Jodie Bowman, Pam Childress, Anita Fuller, Sandi Harris, and Sarah Outhouse.
